Journey of Dr. Chiranjeevi Rao

  • Born on August 30, 1972, in Dondapudi village, Ramikamatham Mandal of Chodavaram Cosntituency in Anakapalli district, to farmer parents Vepada Demudu and Chilakamma. He pursued his education locally and later in Kothakota and Chodavaram.

  • After completing his studies, he served as a Secondary Grade Teacher and School Assistant in primary and Zilla Parishad schools of agency and rural areas. He later worked as a Junior and Degree Lecturer in Economics at Chodavaram and Sabbavaram, including Visakha Krishna Government Junior and Degree Colleges.

  • He earned the title “Economy Chiranjeevi” through his PhD in Economics from Andhra University and his academic mentorship in Economics to thousands of aspirants preparing for government and private sector employment.

  • In 2023, he secured a historic victory in the Graduate MLC elections by a margin of 27,209 votes, defeating the YSRCP candidate in a stronghold constituency and voicing opposition to anti-education policies. He launched the initiative “Your Contribution to Book Assistance for the Unemployed,” mobilizing over 10,000 books through donors and distributing them to more than 5,000 economically disadvantaged aspirants.

    Support for Unemployed Youth and Students:

  • Book Assistance Initiative: Through the program “Your Contribution to Book Assistance for the Unemployed,” more than 10,000 competitive examination books were mobilized with donor support and distributed free of cost to over 5,000 economically disadvantaged aspirants.

  • Recruitment Advocacy: Took proactive steps to expedite the appointment of the APPSC Chairman and ensured adequate preparation time for Group-2 Mains candidates.

  • Police and Teacher Recruitment: Actively engaged with authorities to support constable aspirants, advocated for the advance release of the DSC syllabus, and pressed for enhancement of the upper age limit, contributing to positive policy decisions.

  • Job Calendar: Held discussions with the Hon’ble Chief Minister and Education Minister regarding the long-awaited Job Calendar. Following constructive deliberations, the government is moving forward with its release.
